This site is dedicated to my various maker projects and hacks, and goes hand-in-hand with my YouTube channel @RockyMountainMaker.
Everything I add to this site is tagged so that it can be easily searched and categorised.
I’m using four main tags to do this. They all sound kinda similar, but are actually quite different. Some projects straddle two or more categories. Here they are, explained as I’m picturing them in my mind:
#repair
Repairs to existing software or hardware to make something work again, as intended.
#fix
Another way around a problem. To me, a “fix” does not address the root cause, it simply finds a way around a problem, as though the problem wasn’t there (a good technique in life!)
#hack
Unexpected & unusual (and therefore cool) ways of solving problems.
#maker
New things I’ve made from scratch.
